Hearst Magazines is looking for a new art director in its San Francisco, Calif. office, but not just anyone will do. The company is seeking an “exceptional” individual, who is also “smart, hungry, humble and passionate.”
If you fit the bill and land the gig, you’ll be responsible for the conception, design and execution of visual materials for sales and online advertising, as well as print and digital marketing. You’ll lead production artists on a daily basis, while producing materials in several mediums. The ability to multitask is key.
To be considered, you should have at least five years of art direction experience and formal design training, in addition to strong typographical, motion graphic, online and interaction design skills.
