Vanity Fair Loses Editor to Newsweek/The Daily Beast

Leslie Bennetts, a Contributing Editor for Vanity Fair, is leaving the magazine for Newsweek/The Daily Beast. Bennetts, who has been with Vanity Fair for over 20 years, told The Cutline that the chance to join Tina Brown was too enticing. “I’ve had a great run there [Vanity Fair], but when Tina asked me to rejoin her, I couldn’t resist the invitation,” she said.
