UPDATE: Medill In The Mideast

Earlier we told you Medill was sending faculty to Qatar to teach people who don’t allow free press how to, um, report. The Daily Northwestern, where this Fishie cut her nubby little reporting teeth, offers a story that the Chicago Tribune and other pubs failed to notice: It’s not just the Qataris who doubt this experiment will work. Some Northwestern University profs declined to go, saying, basically “What’s the point?”
