The Guardian Names CRO

Hamish Nicklin joins the company from AOL.

The Guardian has named Hamish Nicklin its chief revenue officer, a new role at the company. Nicklin comes to the company from AOL UK, where he most recently served as managing director.

Prior to his time at AOL, Nicklin worked for Google for nine years.

With his in-depth knowledge of the commercial media sector, Hamish will play a key role in unlocking the full potential of the Guardian’s valuable audience and cross-platform reach,” said David Pemsel, CEO of Guardian parent Guardian News & Media.
