Tell Me Something I Don’t Know

From the upcoming “Chris Matthews Show”:

    JOE KLEIN, TIME MAGAZINE:
“This is just a guess, but it’s an educated and reported guess: The Democrats in the Senate are getting really, really angry at Joe Lieberman, especially because he’s been accusing them of undermining the troops’ morale. And Joe Lieberman isn’t too happy with the Democrats either. I think there’s going to be an explosion and perhaps a party switch pretty soon.”

    KATTY KAY, BBC:
“Tony Blair could be spending a lot more time in the United States before he leaves office in Britain, and possibly even moving to New York. It makes quite a lot of sense; he’s much more liked here than he is back there.”

    CLARENCE PAGE, CHICAGO TRIBUNE:
“There’s a big debate blowing up in twenty states altogether about whether to require prepubescent girls to get the anti-HPV virus inoculation, approved by the federal government now. Governor Rick Perry of Texas, on Groundhog Day, jumped out ahead and ordered it by executive order, starting a backlash as you well might imagine. This is going to raise quite a backlash in the national debate these next few weeks.”

    NORAH O’DONNELL, MSNBC:
“Everyone’s waiting for the big primaries in New Hampshire and Iowa a year from now, but there’s going to be a big primary on March 31st. It’s called the money primary — it’s the first filing deadline. And we’re going to find out how much money people have raised, and it’s going to shake up this front-runner field status… I think Hillary will come out very strong and I think Romney will come out very strong.”
