SKDKnickerbocker announced the hirings of three new vice presidents on Tuesday evening, according to a press release.
Among the additions will be Kate Nocera, an award-winning congressional reporter, who will be joining their Washington public affairs team, as well as political and communications veterans, Jaclyn Rothenberg and Maureen Shanahan, who are joining their New York City team.
“We are thrilled that Kate, Jaclyn and Maureen are joining our world-class team,” said Hilary Rosen, managing director of SKDKnickerbocker, in the statement. “Kate’s unique experience as a reporter covering health care, Congress and politics combined with Maureen’s deep political and corporate experience and Jaclyn’s digital and public affairs expertise will be great assets to our corporate and advocacy clients.”
Nocera, who previously covered Congress for Buzzfeed, will help lead communications efforts on behalf of SKDK’s advocacy, nonprofit and corporate clients. Rothenberg is rejoining SKDK to serve as a team leader and handle public affairs and technology clients. She spent the past two years with Teneo, helping lead their digital and public affairs teams. Last but not least, Shanahan, a former communications director for Congressman Adam Schiff and press secretary for Congresswoman Betty Sutton, will be working on a wide range of public affairs and corporate clients at SKDK.
