Schwarzenegger Would Shake His Head at This
The Schwarzenegger bobblehead controversy continues (cuz, really, why not?). Ahhnold had sued Ohio Discount Merchandise, for using is image on a bobblehead doll in 2004. The case was settled out of court, but now ODM is heading to federal court over The Governator’s noggin.
Seems bobblehead venture capitalist and former Capitol Hill lobbyist John Edgell sued ODM in 2004 for damages after the Schwarzenegger deal. And after Edgell apparently told another manufacturer to copy ODM’s Schwarzenegger design, ODM hit Edgell with a copyright infringement countersuit.
