Saveur has named Yaran Noti deputy editor. Noti most recently worked as Food & Wine’s features editor. Prior to that, he held the same role at Food Network Magazine.
In a memo announcing Noti’s arrival, Saveur editor-in-chief Adam Sachs described Noti as “very nice and dapper” and added that his favorite food group is “soup.”
Noti begins December 1. You can read Sachs’ full memo below.
I’m happy to share the news that the very nice and dapper Yaran Noti will be joining us as Deputy Editor.
Yaran comes to us most recently from Food & Wine where he served as Features Editor and looked after the magazine’s essays, well stories and special packages while also contributing to the website. Prior to F&W he was features editor at Food Network Magazine and before that he was in the luxury lifestyle trenches at Details magazine.
Yaran—a Connecticut native, University of Pennsylvania alumnus and current resident of trending Astoria Queens—notes that his favorite food group is ‘soup.’
Official start date is December 1st but I’m hoping to lure him over to the office before that to say hello. Please join me in welcoming Yaran to Saveur.Adam
