Samsung Drops Price Of Galaxy Tablet
Samsung has lowered the price of its Galaxy S tablet and is available through Sprint for $299, down from $600.
After a CES all about tablets and rumors that a new iPad 2 is on the way, Samsung seems to be repositioning itself as a cheaper alternative to the competition. RIM, the maker of BlackBerry, has a new tablet coming out this quarter called the PlayBook, as does Motorola.
The Galaxy S runs the Android Froyo version 2.2
