Safety in Entry Numbers Through the 'Counter-Terrorism Design Competition'

As we discussed on Friday with the UK rolling out the first round of “design out terrorism” tests/experiments, it looks like they’ve started part two of the big campaign by announcing the Counter-Terrorism Design Competition for students in design and architecture programs. It’s sort of like a spec contest, with the government handing out a couple thousand dollars for whoever wins, which no one ever like very much, but it has that added bonus of the winners hopefully aiding in the survival of their fellow citizens, so that will probably take a bit of a bite out of the “no-spec!” cries.
