Dow Jones spokesperson Howard Hoffman just tipped us off to something interesting: Rupert Murdoch can rename the Dow Jones Industrial Average under the terms of purchase for Dow Jones and the Journal. TheStreet.com’s Brett Arends, who broke the story, has a few suggestions:
- The Fox Dow Jones Industrial Average
- The Fox Business Network Average
- The Rupert and Wendi Murdoch Industrial Average
