Rodale Heralding the ‘Glam’ Movement

Rodale Inc. has announced a content syndication partnership with the fast growing, female-focused ad network Glam Media, marking one of the few examples of a traditional magazine publisher electing to collaborate with the long-tail centric media upstart.

The magazine publisher is supplying content from its titles Women’s Health and Prevention to Glam Health, one of several vertical channels Glam has been attempting to build a unique audience around. The company, which has amassed an audience of over 43 million unique users per comScore–mostly by adding niche blogs and content sites to its network–has been investing more resources to its own branded properties of late.
