RIP Nate Dogg

The LBC’s own Nathaniel Hale, otherwise known as Nate Dogg, has passed away at only 41. Hale had been struggling with health problems for years after suffering strokes in 2007 and 2008. The Long Beach Press-Telegram broke the news late last night, which has since spread all over the world–including the Wall Street Journal in this rather bizarre post.

Nate Dogg made his recording debut on Dr. Dre’s “The Chronic” back in 1992–the album which blew up and put LA hip-hop culture on the global map.
