Promotions at U.S. News

U.S. News has bumped up two staff members to the top of its masthead and added two to the executive team. Details below:

Karen Chevalier has been named chief operating officer, responsible for U.S. News’ tech, data, admin, pr, hr and events departments. Chevalier was previously the senior vice president for operations.
Chad Smolinski is now the chief product officer. He was previously senior vice president in charge of health, money, travel and real estate rankings.
