Yesterday, the President of the United States, Barack Obama was on all five Sunday shows. Five. Being on all five shows in one day is known as the Full Ginsburg, named for the Monica Lewinsky lawyer William H. Ginsburg who first made the entire circuit.
Let it now be known as an Obama-rama.
Anyway, seems POTUS is even giving interviews in the Oval Office to tiny little papers like the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Toledo Blade.
Dave Murray from The Blade (heh) reports:
Mr. Obama said he noted the trend. “I am concerned that if the direction of the news is all blogosphere, all opinions, with no serious fact-checking, no serious attempts to put stories in context, that what you will end up getting is people shouting at each other across the void but not a lot of mutual understanding,” the President said.
“What I hope is that people start understanding if you’re getting your newspaper over the Internet, that’s not free and there’s got to be a way to find a business model that supports that.”
Could this dude have any problem facing the nation and/or democracy itself that isn’t totally complicated?
