Paul Turcotte will be taking on the publisher’s role at amNewYork, Newsday Media Group announced today. The change is effective March 8.
Turcotte, senior vice president and ad sales director for Sirius XM Radio since January 2008, has also worked in sales for Hachette-Filipacchi titles Men’s Health and Yahoo! Internet Life.
Newsday Media Group, a subsidiary of Cablevision, also publishes Long Island daily Newsday.

MELVILLE, NY- March 5, 2010 — Newsday Media Group today announced the appointment of Paul Turcotte as publisher of amNewYork, effective March 8, 2010. He will oversee the day to day operations of amNewYork and will report to Terry Jimenez, Newsday Media Group Publisher.
Turcotte was most recently Senior Vice President/Advertising Sales Director for Sirius XM Radio. Prior to that he held senior management and sales positions with Hachette-Filipacchi Media, Menâ€™s Health Magazine, Yahoo! Internet Life Magazine and other magazine publishing companies.
