NPR Music Wins an Emmy – For Music?

Earlier this week NPR Music won an Emmy in the category New Approaches To News & Documentary Programming: Arts, Lifestyle & Culture.

The award was for this “Project Song” video in which Moby and collaborator Kelli Scarr created a song in two days. Well, they did it mostly in one day and then used their leftover time to do another video feature at NPR Music, a Tiny Desk Concert.

At one point they joked with Moby, saying, “Want to host All Things Considered?”

The commenters on the YouTube video are both generous and insulting. “Wonderfully dark. I adore this,” wrote one. But another remarked, “Moby is such a pretentious douchebag. … What  selfish prick, I hate him.”
