The staff of your local Barnes & Noble store will start training on the NookColor update this morning, and according to one source that it means the update will be available in the next couple days.
Update: B&N just issued a press release. The update is already available (here).
You might recall that about a month ago the HSN accidentally leaked news about the NookColor. According to HSN, the NookColor would soon have the ability to load apps and it would support Adobe Flash (useful for sites like Youtube). That update was supposed to happen in April, and the month is almost gone.
The source of this rumor is reportedly a B&N employee. He posted this weekend that he would be going to work early this morning. “I’ve just been informed I need to be at work at 7am on Monday to train on the update. So there it is.” There’s a chance that the update might be delayed, but I expect that we’ll see it hit the airwaves this week.
You should be able to download it from your NookColor once it is available.
