The cover of New York’s Election issue, which is out today, pulls no punches. There’s Donald Trump, with just one of of the many ways you could describe him (see also: racist, moron, misogynist, sexual predator) plastered across his face.
Yet the bluntness of “Loser” isn’t as simple as it seems. Here’s what New York editor Adam Moss had to say about this great cover:
[There are] three ways in which it could be interpreted: as Trump speaking (single word epithets being his specialty); as a description of Trump; and as a call on the election result.
