NBC News is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington and Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech by encouraging viewers to get involved on social media.
Today through Aug. 28, anyone can complete the statement “I Have a Dream that ____,” and post it on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and/or Vine using hashtag #DreamDay.
These messages will be curated and posted online at NBCNews.com/DreamDay, and highlighted during “Today” and “NBC Nightly News.” These postings will also be featured on digital signage outside NBC’s headquarters in New York City.
Right now, NBCNews.com/DreamDay includes “I Have a Dream that” statements from the Dalai Lama, Martin Luther King III, the Rev. Jesse Jackson, Gov. Chris Christie, Carmelo Anthony, Ivanka Trump, Rev.
