Microsoft Details Some WinMo App Market Terms

When Microsoft launches its marketplace for Windows Mobile apps later this year, developers will get to keep 70% of all the revenues their applications generate. Seventy percent, coincidentally or not, is the same amount that iPhone app developers get from Apple.

WinMo app developers will also have access to detailed feedback throughout the certification process, Fierce Mobile Content reports.

Scheduled to launch in 29 countries when Windows Mobile 6.5 becomes available later this year, the Windows Marketplace for Mobile will allow developers to set the prices for their applications.
