McInerney, Teague Sign on as WSJ Wine Columnists

Talk about an enviable position. Both the New York Observer and Jim Romenesko have obtained a memo from Wall Street Journal Managing Editor Robert Thomson announcing that Jay McInerney and Lettie Teague will be penning alternating weekly wine columns for the Journal‘s “Weekend” section.

McInerney wrote the druggy 1984 novel Bright Lights, Big City, and has written wine columns before for House and Garden. Teague is leaving her wine column at Food & Wine to join the Journal.
