Mark Anthony Green Takes Over GQ’s ‘Style Guy’ Role

A new age, a new guy.

GQ has named Mark Anthony Green its new style guy. Green was previously an editorial assistant for GQ.

“We’ve seen a change in the way men interact with style, they’re becoming more daring, they want to try new things, and they want to try them now,” said GQ’s editor, Jim Nelson, in an announcement. “Just ask our web team how popular searches like ‘can I wear a man bun,’ and ‘Ryan Gosling’s style’ have become (answer: VERY!). Mark Anthony is the guy to help you navigate all that, from the small lapel-pin-level details to the biggest investment piece queries, he’s got you covered.”

Green will take over for Glenn O’Brien, who penned GQ’s style guy feature—a fashion advice column—for more than a decade. GQ said O’Brien is no longer with the magazine.
