In this economy the worst thing you could see sitting in your in-box is a pink piece of paper. So you could imagine the shock Chris Russell, manager of the job board, felt when he came back to his desk and saw this:


The actual pink resume definitely caught his eye when it was handed to him at a recruiting event. So much so, this experienced recruiter is now advising applicants to do the same thing. Well, not exactly the same thing, but Chris says with all the resumes coming in, it’s important to make your application stand out. Catching someone’s eye isn’t all about experience these days. Sometimes it takes a little ingenuity too.
