Meet Kent Brownridge. He’s the new owner of Alpha Media, aka Dennis Publishing. You know, the Maxim/Blender people. Before Alpha, Brownridge spent over thirty years as Jann Wenner‘s right hand man.

Over at Portfolio, Brownridge spoke with Jeff Bercovici about finding out that his farm hands were running a meth ring (really) and Susan Casey was the first person he called to replace Jimmy Jellinek. Alas, still no word on why Jellinek was fired.
