Well, she’s actually already here, but upon being reminded about this week’s LA design event, we realized we’d been remiss in not noting the lovely Kali Nikitas’ recent appointment as Associate Professor and Chair of the Communication Arts Department at local design school Otis. Say they:
Previously Chair of the Department of Visual Arts at Northeastern University in Boston, Ms. Nikitas was Chair of the Design Department at Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) for six years, and professor of visual communications at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 1991-1997.
