Jo Confino Leaves The Guardian for HuffPost

The veteran executive editor moves on.

Jo Confino is leaving The Guardian to join The Huffington Post as executive editor of its Impact and Innovations department. Confino had served as executive editor for The Guardian for more than two decades.

Business Insider reports that at HuffPost, Confino will oversee the site’s Business, Green, Impact, Science and Technology verticals.

“I was so impressed by his deep understanding of the shift that’s happening in business and culture, generally, but specifically how the business world is waking up around the fact that ideas that were once fringe are now part of the mainstream — environmental stewardship, well-being practices in the workplace, gender and racial equality, impact investing,” Arianna Huffington told BI.
