The Wall Street Journal has named James Taranto editorial features editor.
Taranto has been with the Journal since 1996. He is most well-known for his Best of The Web column, which debuted on wsj.com in 2008, when OpinionJournal.com was rolled into the main site.
Best of The Web will eventually be penned by associate editorial page editor James Freeman.
