It didn’t take long for the cottage industry of ironic t-shirts to sprout up around the Naomi Campbell cell phone beaning incident. On Saturday, the New York Post ran a front-page photo of Campbell she of the Paris Hilton–Winona Ryder school of wearing a self-referential t-shirt to spin irony off its axis donning a “Naomi Hit Me” t-shirt. Now, before you think less of Campbell, that shot was taken a year ago. In fact, the first t-shirt designer to benefit from the latest Campbell saga is Malcolm Harris, an FIT grad who already had the “Naomi Campbell slapped me … and I slapped the bitch back!” in stock.
