iPad Camera Connection Kit Finally Available for Pre-Order - Doesn't Ship Until Late April

Apple announced several accessories for the iPad at its launch. All but one were available for pre-order on March 27. Now, it too is available for pre-order:
The kit is priced at $29 and consists of two adapters that plugs into the iPad’s proprietary 30-pin connector:
1. USB adapter to connect a digital camera directly to the iPad to transfer photos
2. SD flash card reader to read photos from an SD card
There is no indication that the USB adapter allows anything except reading photos stored on the card.
