How Drake’s Vintage Jacket Nearly Stole the Apple Music Show

Hip-hop notable creates big buzz

One thing seems certain: Apple would be even richer if it mass-produced that jacket Drake wore today. The iTunes company launched its new music service with an assist from the hip-hop star, who sported an old-school varsity Apple jacket. And now, almost everyone on the Internet wants one.

The artist said he bought the vintage employee jacket, which is wool with leather sleeves and a classic Apple logo, online. He went on to explain how Apple Music will challenge the rest of the music-streaming industry.

Twitter immediately started buzzing about the jacket during Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference. Whether Drake's fashion statement will translate into Apple Music sign-ups when the service launches later this month remains to be seen.
