Hotline Interviews Kelly O’Donnell

Some excerpt’s from Hotline’s “Friday Feature”:

Where’s your hometown? What was it like growing up there?

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. My family is still there so I get back a few times a year. I always say it’s a great place to be from because of the spirit. Clevelanders who have moved elsewhere always seem to be passionate ambassadors for the city and great fans of the town, the sports teams, the lakefront and the good people.

    What was your first job?

In high school, I sold sneakers and workout gear in a mall sporting goods shop.

If you could have any other job besides the one you have now, what would it be?

It would be fun to own a small business in a resort town maybe running a spa in Maui.

If you could cover any past political story, which one would it be and why?

Covering women’s suffrage would have been interesting. It still amazes me that when my grandmother was a young woman she and her peers did not have the right to vote.
