HollywoodLife.com, former Star and US Weekly editor Bonnie Fuller’s digital entrée into Hollywood news and gossip, has finally launched, and the site has announced that its content will be distributed across several top women-aimed Web properties, including NBC Universal’s iVillage and AOL’s Popeater.com blog.
The new site, aimed at women 18-35, focuses on entertainment, celebrities, fashion, beauty and the like. To help boost the site’s profile in a saturated market, Fuller is turning to iVillage as both a content and distribution partner. HollywoodLife.com’s content will be posted regularly on Village’s recently revamped entertainment channel. Plus, the two sites’ staffs will regularly collaborate on stories.
Details of HollywoodLife.com’s partnership with AOL have yet to be announced. But according to officials, several other content and distribution deals are imminent for the new site.
HollywoodLife.com has already landed several prominent launch sponsors. The site is featuring campaigns from Old Navy, Sony Pictures, People’s Choice and WE tv.
