Fox News Sunday Wins the Demo in DC Market

No Trump? No problem.

As Donald Trump [literally] phoned it in this weekend to Sunday show after Sunday show, his voice was missing from one: Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace. The reason, according to Fox News, was that its Sunday public affairs show only conducts in-person interviews with presidential candidates, no phoners.

Despite–or perhaps because of–its Trump-less state, the show did just fine in the DC market, winning the A25-54 demo on FOX 5, according to Nielsen. The show averaged 32,000 in the demo, more than double NBC’s Meet the Press on WRC, which took third place in the demo with 15,000 demo viewers. MTP was first in total viewers with 79,000. Interestingly, second place in the demo went to Jorge Ramos‘ Al Punto on Univision.

Sunday marked the second consecutive demo win for Fox News Sunday in the DC market, and its eighth since March.
