In 2016, Ann Marinovich, who as senior vice president of content partnerships and strategy at Forbes oversees the company’s BrandVoice content marketing efforts, relocated to San Francisco. This spring, chief revenue officer Mark Howard made the same move.
Now comes an expanded office space to house Marinovich, Howard and the company’s largest edit hub outside of Jersey City, N.J. Forbes has moved to a 12th floor space at 101 Mission Street, a 22-storey building located at the corner of Mission and Spear Streets.
The Bay Area Forbes team was previously headquartered at 250 Montgomery Street. A year ago at this time, the Forbes San Francisco office counted 19 employees. Today, the total is 29, with more to be added.
On a related note, indeed.com recently combed through two years of employee reviews and other data to rank the best Bay Area companies to work for. Forbes noted the resulting Top Ten, which includes–outside of the usual tech suspects–Chevron at #6 and See’s Candies #4. The new Forbes office is a couple of blocks from a See’s location at the Embarcadero Center. In terms of SF workplace karma, a few boxes of those chocolates might be a good thing to occasionally stock in the new kitchen.
