Michael Mullen, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to Fox News that the removal of all combat troops from Iraq by 2010 “could be very dangerous” was not referring specifically to Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama’s plan to withdraw all U.S. combat forces in that time frame.
