ESPN's Rebecca Lobo Tweets Emergency LA-Bound Plane Landing
Former UCONN basketball star and current ESPN basketball analyst Rebecca Lobo had a tough night last night. While catching a Delta red eye from Atlanta to Los Angeles to call the New York Liberty vs. Los Angeles Sparks WNBA game, a bird apparently got sucked into the engine of her plane, which then caught fire and forced an emergency landing. Three people were reportedly injured.
The near crash was big news today, and Lobo live-tweeted the whole incident as it was happening.
