ESPN360 to Stream MLG Event

ESPN360.com will on June 5 stream its first live Major League Gaming event, a “Pro Circuit” tournament being held at the Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Back in January, Major League Gaming signed an exclusive content agreement with ESPN. The fledgling sports league for professional videogame players typically streams its events live on its own Web site MLGpro.com.

Several years ago a handful of MLG contests were aired on USA Network, but lately, the league has been absent from the broadcast arena. With the ESPN360.com distribution, next month’s tournament will be available on the Web in close to 25 million homes, according to ESPN officials.
