Kavitha Cardoza is joining Education Week as a correspondent contributing to the publication’s video and television projects.
Cardoza is currently an education reporter for WAMU, where she has been since 2008, covering issues that have included a look into Washington’s dropout crisis, school testing, teacher evaluations and student mental health.
When she joins Education Week on Aug. 1, Cardoza, in addition to working on Education Week’s digital video efforts, will contribute to an ongoing collaboration between the publication and PBS NewsHour for NewsHour’s Making the Grade series.
