Disney: Have your people become our people…or it’s all off.

The merger between the Walt Disney Company and Pixar depends on whether its vaunted creative team agrees to work for the combined company, according to an SEC filing made today. luxo-jr.gif

Among those who must join Disney include “Finding Nemo” director Andrew Stanton; “Monsters, Inc.” director Pete Docter; “The Incredibles” director Brad Bird; director/writer Bob Peterson; story artist Brenda Chapman; editor Lee Unkrich; and sound designer Gary Rydstrom.

The terms of the deal also demand that Pixar pay a $210 million penatly in case it bails out.

Full details at Reuters, but one amusing concession wangled by Pixar is that it must be allowed to stay in Emeryville with a sign at its gate that “shall not be altered” from “Pixar.”
