“I got the call to pack it in while shooting h.s. football at Ford Field today. After freelancing for ten years and then working at a daily again, I’d forgotten what a privilege it is to be a daily journalist, meeting people from all walks of life, telling their stories and trying to bring a little insight into those different walks of life to the community. It was fun while it lasted.”
