Cumulus Changes: John Foxx Gets WPLJ PD Gig; Jeff Miles Leaves Middays

It’s a busy day in the Cumulus neighborhood. Several reports indicate John Foxx is about to land at WPLJ as program director. What that means for the legendary programmer, Scott Shannon, is unclear. But All Access says Foxx will work “alongside” Shannon. But there’s no explanation as to whether Foxx will be an equal to Shannon or if, in fact, he’ll become Shannon’s boss.
