American Public Media (APM) has named Craig Helmstetter managing partner of the APM Research Lab and Analyst Group. The group is a new initiative from APM, and staff will engage in data analysis and statistics to bolster APM as well as Minnesota Public Radio’s (MPR) journalism.
“The idea is to deepen our understanding of important issues through sound, credible research and analysis,” Helmstetter tells Fishbowl. “That could range from conducting literature reviews to analyzing existing data to collecting new data.
