Cell Phone as Personal Trainer
Samsung and Adidas have joined forces on the new miCoach, a cell phone that plays music to accompany your workout and pushes you to pick up the pace if you start to slack off.
InfoWorld reports that the miCoach comes with a heart-rate monitor, a sensor that attaches to your shoe to track your workout pace and a Web-based journal so you can track and manage your workout schedule. Despite being a joint Samsung/Adidas offering, the sensor works with any brand of footwear.
