Candidates Respond to Virginia TV News Murders

"Praying for the victims' families in Virginia," Clinton tweeted.

Presidential candidates are using social media to send their condolences to the family, friends and coworkers of Alison Parker and Adam Ward, a reporter and a photographer from WDBJ in Roanoke, Va., who were shot and killed earlier today during a live broadcast.

Hillary Clinton, Ted Cruz, Dr. Ben Carson, and other candidates took to social media to voice their sadness and shock at the shooting, which left a third woman wounded. Local Chamber of Commerce representative Vicki Gardner was being interviewed at the time about a development project in Moneta, Va.
