California Architecture Cool Enough to Merit Entire Edition

Maybe we’re homesick, but the newest issue of The Architect’s Newspaper is just about the most exciting thing we’ve laid eyes on this week. This California Edition, edited by LA Mag architecture critic Greg Goldin has plenty about LA’s new downtown, overpriced lofts, a Morphosis show in Paris, and two really great essays by Ken Ehrlich and Frances Anderton about LA’s architecture identity crisis. Odd, however, is the fact that even though this is the California Edition, all the stories are about LA, except one about SF.

Or maybe that’s not so odd at all.
