Are you a college student or recent grad looking for an entry-level media career? Don’t discount business to business publications, especially because they have all but admitted they need new hiring prospects.
The Business Press Educational Foundation is holding a contest to get ideas for a marketing campaign that will encourage college and graduate students to consider a career in b2b media.
Contest winners will receive $5,000 and a trip to the American Business Media conference in Austin in May, but the contest page admits: “The goal of the contest is to attract young professionals to the b-to-b media industry.”
Not ready for that job yet? The BPEF also matches students up with internships at b2b media.
The BFEF is associated with American Business Media, which represents companies holding a total of 6,000 print and online titles. It’s a big world out there.
