Arbitron Survey Good News for Cinema Advertisers, Bad News for Everyone Else

Arbitron claims that movie patrons are willing to sit through ads before the film actually starts. According to their poll, 53% of moviegoers find ads before movies acceptable, beating out the 46% who’ll put up with TV ads.

FBLA thinks this means that either 53% of all people contacted are idiots or movies are worse than ever. Who pays to watch advertising?

And don’t bother writing in about how creative and clever the ads are–it’s just not true and you all know it.
