Apps vs. Web: i.TV Providing HTML5 Based Content Now Too
Google, Amazon and Financial Times are just a fe of the big names that offer web alternatives to popular mobile apps for functions like email (Gmail), ebooks (Kindle) and e-newspapers. Here’s a smaller name to add to the list.: i.TV.

i.TV already has a free iOS app for the iPhone and iPad. i.TV’s mobile friendly website can be found at:
The site provides nearly all the features available in the app with the exception of the ability to check-in to a show. It provides limited TV show news on its home page, lists of new shows and most favorited, the ability to declare favorite shows via Facebook, Twitter, Google and AOL, and a TV show guide.
The site also works with desktop browsers that supports HTML5.
