The Most Wonderful Maggie Awards Category
At the very bottom of the gargantuan list of nominees for the 2011 Maggie Awards, scheduled to be handed out April 29th in Los Angeles, is this beacon of print media light – “Best New Publication / Trade & Consumer.”
That’s right. Apparently, there are still companies and individuals foolish enough to launch publications that put traditional ahead of digital. The nominees for this, our instant-favorite 2011 Maggie Awards category, are:

– Vegas Seven (everything)
When the Western Publishing Association banquet event goes down next month, FishbowlLA will be pulling for LAVA, headquartered in Solana Beach under the umbrella of the World Triathlon Corporation.
